In this webinar, Huitt-Zollars and AppGeo present some ideas to help demystify the flood planning process and to help stakeholders avoid the organizational paralysis that often occurs when facing large new challenges.

With SB7, SB8, and Prop 8 passed in 2019, Texas law requires the preparation of 15 regional flood plans by 1/10/2023 and a Comprehensive State Flood Plan by 9/1/2024. Successful completion will require enormous effort and innovation from engineers and planners across the state. Success will also depend on an unprecedented level of information management, communication, coordination, outreach, feedback, and alternatives analysis among State, Federal, and Local government agencies, businesses, and citizens.
