Housing and Neighborhood Analytics for New York City
The NYU Furman Center is an urban policy research center housed at NYU School of Law. The Furman Center uses related but separate tools: the Subsidized Housing Information Project (SHIP) and the Neighborhood Information (NI) tool. Each tool presents data that the NYU Furman Center has acquired, cleaned, transformed, and stored as tables that can be uploaded into a relational database. Through this project, AppGeo designed and built a new and unified Data Tool that allows users to query, view, visualize, download, and share SHIP and NI data and to allow the NYU Furman Center to expand the scope of data that is accessible through SHIP and NI.
